Your garden design journey starts with our exciting ‘My Ideal Garden’- Discovery form. Filling in this form will help Victoria to prepare for your initial phone call and will give you ideas of how a garden designer works. It also will help you to understand what you want to achieve in your garden
Initial phone call
Our initial phone call gives you an overview of our services and what you can expect. Based on your filled-in discovery form I advise you on what service would suit your needs and budget best, and we find out if we’re a good fit for your project.
Site visit
I aim to create a smooth journey for you.
That’s why on our initial site visit, I will gather all the information about what you want and need to achieve the garden of your dreams and make it work for you and your family. I might take measurements and we determine a budget. This way you can relax and enjoy the journey.
After the visit, you will receive a written design brief along with a proposal regarding the design fee.
Conceptual Design
It’s getting exciting! I want that you can envision your garden in every detail.
After you approve the design brief and budget, I create a layout plan in 2D including a planting scheme, 3D images of key features, and a video walkthrough.
Remember, it’s your garden and it’s important to me that to achieve a garden you truly love and that’s why I will adapt throughout the process. After receiving the first draft of the design you can make changes. The process allows for two revisions.
Final Presentation
It’s getting more and more exciting! After the revision, you will receive the final plans for your garden including a plant legend, planting scheme, 2d plan view in pdf, lighting plan, 3D images and a final video walk-through in daytime and nighttime.
Project Coordination
There are many ways to implement the design:
- You wish to implement the garden design and landscaping yourself
- I refer you to trusted trades
- I coordinate the garden project for you
Finishing Touches
This is the best part! Everything takes shape and you can finally enjoy your new beautiful outdoor space.
After groundwork and construction are finalised I can help with sourcing, and even planting your plants or recommend nurseries. I also offer my popular garden furniture package tailored to your needs and space.
