For this spacious garden in Rustington, the clients opted for our design-only service, allowing them to bring the vision to life in carefully considered stages. With a well-established garden already in place, their brief was to elevate the space—introducing a sense of luxury, layered planting, and purposeful zones for outdoor living.

At the heart of the design is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, sheltered beneath a pergola—perfect for entertaining whatever the weather. Multiple seating areas have been seamlessly woven into the landscape, each nestled within immersive planting to create a sense of retreat and privacy. A water feature, positioned for clear sightlines from the house, adds movement and serenity to the space.

Keen gardeners themselves, the clients wanted a scheme that would excite the senses without becoming a full-time job. The planting is rich in texture, colour and seasonal interest, yet carefully curated to remain manageable during their periods of travel.

This garden strikes a balance—designed to feel indulgent and dynamic, while remaining grounded in practical elegance.

The clients had trouble of visualising their vision and dream of the finished garden and wanted to avoid costly mistakes by choosing unsuitable material.
