From Exposed Slope to Family Sanctuary
This is our second recently completed garden transformation in Findon Valley, for a couple who moved into their home a few years prior but were unsure how to begin designing the garden. The outdoor space consisted of uneven ground, a leaning Pittosporum shaped by the coastal winds, and little shelter from the elements.
The clients envisioned a calm, inviting space where they could enjoy the evening sun, gather around a fire pit with family and grandchildren, and take a gentle path leading to their new garden office. Their brief called for a low-maintenance garden with coastal-inspired, textured planting that would soften the sloping terrain and create a seamless journey from the home to the workspace.
