Whether you’re at the very beginning of your garden journey or part-way through and feeling stuck, this session is designed to give you clarity. It works beautifully as the first step towards a full garden transformation — or as a standalone consultation if you simply want professional direction.
Following a short introductory call, Victoria will either visit your property in person or meet you via Zoom for a focused, in-depth session. Together, we will:
- Explore your garden and property holistically — looking beyond individual elements to understand how your outdoor space connects to your home, your lifestyle, and your long-term goals for the property.
- Discuss lifestyle and property goals — how you live now, how you’d like to live in the space, and what the garden needs to support — whether that’s calm, connection, entertaining, or simplicity.
- Identify opportunities and constraints — including layout, light, privacy, sustainability, and practical considerations that influence design decisions.
- Provide professional design insight and perspective — helping you distinguish what truly matters from what can wait — and where investment will have the greatest impact.
After Your Session
After the visit, you’ll receive:
- A Personal Garden Transformation Plan — a tailored, step-by-step outline to help you move from where you are now towards a garden that feels intentional, supportive, and aligned.
- A Visual Guide — a curated visual guide with planting ideas, materials, colours, and overall style direction to bring your vision into focus.
- Clear Next Steps & Fee Proposal — honest guidance on how to proceed, whether that’s with Studio Hummingbird or independently.
- Credit towards a full garden design service.
There’s no obligation to proceed beyond this visit. If you decide to move forward with Studio Hummingbird for your garden design and project coordination, the cost of your consultation will be fully redeemable against the design fee.
Many clients choose to continue with a full garden design after the Garden Clarity Visit because the process brings clarity and confidence — but the session itself is designed to be valuable in its own right.
