This planting-focused garden enhancement in Southwater, Horsham, was designed to complement newly built patio areas with a layered, clay-tolerant scheme that brings seasonal interest and textural depth. The client sought a refined, naturalistic look with planting that thrives in the local soil conditions while remaining easy to care for year-round.

To provide structure and a sense of gentle enclosure, we designed an alternative to the traditional evergreen hedge—introducing a curated mix of deciduous and flowering shrubs that offer movement, colour, and intrigue throughout the seasons.
